The Directorate-General for Environment of the European Commission has commissioned the study “In-depth assessments of the implementability of the DNSH criteria in the EU Taxonomy” to RPA Europe S.R.L., KPMG Germany, Logika Group, Metroeconomica, and Ökopol.

The purpose of this study is to assess, across all relevant economic activities, the overall ‘usability’ of the DNSH criteria as set out in the Delegated Acts of the Taxonomy Regulation. More precisely, the study team is assessing the clarity of the criteria; the availability of necessary information, data and documentation to determine compliance with the criteria; the level of effort needed to determine compliance with the criteria; the auditability of the criteria, i.e. the feasibility for auditors to verify the stated compliance by a company; and the applicability of criteria in the international context, i.e. for Taxonomy-eligible activities carried out outside the EU.

As part of this work, the contractors are reaching out to a number of selected stakeholders across sectors to gather feedback, data and practical insights. Your expertise and experience are vital to ensure the study reflects the reality of implementation on the ground and helps identify opportunities for improvement.

We would be grateful for your support in responding to the consultation activities conducted by the study team, which may include written input, interviews or participation in dedicated focus groups.
